Anthea found yoga as a way of complimenting her pilates background, pursuits and passions. As an athlete and multidisciplinary instructor, finding stillness in the body and quiet in the mind is one of the primary attractions that drew Anthea to a yoga practice. With qualifications in both Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, Anthea's classes encourage a strong practice with technical focus, designed to carry awareness of breath throughout each pose and shape. Anthea encourages all students to continue to explore and get curious in their body, finding new pathways requiring attention, care and love. Her classes require a strong enthusiasm, determination and openness, leaning into simple but strong shapes, you will leave a class with Anthea with energy restored, a body and mind connection awakened and a sense of calm and balance to take with you off the mat.
