Fiona is originally from NZ and at a young age her passion for fitness begin with swimming and surf lifesaving. This soon saw Fiona competing for her swimming club around NZ and soon after she moved to Perth where she ended up on the WA state swimming team.
Fiona went on to become a Personal Trainer as her ambition in life was to help other people have fun exercising while achieve their fitness goals.
Her Personal training career took off and landed her a job on Princess Cruises where she got to travel the world doing what she loved – assisting people reach their fitness potential and show them, they can enjoy exercise.
Another exciting challenge for Fiona was Personal Training on the mines off the coast of WA, where she got to train the miners mentally and physically daily. First hand, she saw how much exercise assisted the off shore workers, away from their family and friends.
Fiona loves to travel and was lucky enough to take 3 years off work to travel the world where she fell in love with Italy, where she decided to reside for 6 months. She is currently learning Italian and loves pasta.
Outside of work Fiona is very active and plays volleyball in summer and enjoys playing basketball with her friends. She also loves plants and has her own little forest growing in her house.
Fiona was drawn to Kaya’s philosophy of mind body balance and was excited for the opportunity to continue to grow and gain further knowledge to assist those who want to change their fitness lifestyle.
