What we expect from a Club General Manager
This role is about balance — heart and commerciality.
We expect you to confidently lead sales and retention, oversee daily operations, and take full accountability for club performance. You will mentor, recruit and develop your team, refine systems and processes, and ensure every member experience reflects our premium brand.
You lead from the front, embrace change and remain solutions-focused in a fast-moving environment.
Do you possess the attributes required to succeed in this role?
- Minimum 5 years people management experience in a service-based industry (health club, leisure or hospitality industries preferred however not essential).
- Experience managing sales and BD in a service-based industry.
- Strong leadership, management, mentoring and business acumen skills (experience preferred in working within a fast faced customer-facing environment and leading numerous departments).
- Previous sales and management in a direct selling-based industry.
- A leader who is solutions focused, works well under pressure, embraces change and is confident in crisis management situations.
- Performance management, recruitment and evaluation of employees.
- Accountability for results in all areas of the business.
- Maturity and confidence in dealings with members, staff, and suppliers
- Team achievement focused from a club and group perspective.
- Implementation and ongoing delivery of systems amongst their team, always with a view of refining processes.
- Experience in conflict resolution.
- Exceptional time management, delegation, follow-up, efficiency and organisation skills, the ability to multi-task and high computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility in communication style.
- Calmness and positive attitude under all conditions.

Member Wellness Advisor | Emporium | Chadstone | Full-time

- Previous sales experience within a direct selling-based industry and a proven track record.
- Proven history in building new corporate partnerships, joint ventures and relationships.
- Business development experience (preferred but not essential if the individual has a willingness to learn and then deliver).

Member Care Receptionist | Emporium (CBD) | Chadstone | Prahran | Casual
As the face of KĀYA, we require a bright, energetic, empathetic, task oriented and above all ‘service’-focused individual.
What we expect from a Member Care Receptionist
As the first touch point at KĀYA, we seek professional, self-motivated individuals who genuinely thrive on supporting members through their health and wellness journey.
We are a team of individuals who possess exceptional empathetic, relationship-building skills and do everything possible in making sure each member’s visit is a memorable one.
We seek candidates who are flexible, as shifts will include early mornings (5:15am weekday opens), evening-time close (between 8pm & 9pm on weekdays) and weekend work (7.30am till 5pm).
This role is suitable for individuals who may be studying, returning back to the workforce or interested in seeking a career change.
We kindly ask that you refrain from applying if your availability is limited, as we strive to ‘serve’ our members within our clubs that operate seven days a week.

Resident Personal Trainer | Chadstone | Emporium (CBD) | Prahran | Licensee
KĀYA is quickly growing and as a result, our existing personal trainers are nearing capacity. We are seeking self-motivated, driven, outcome focused, experienced and knowledgeable personal trainers who have a proven track record in supporting members achieve their desired goals.
KĀYA is not the club with 20+ personal trainers roaming the gym floor – each club currently has up to two personal trainers, making for a thriving business prospect for a professional that possesses strong business acumen skills and understands how a fast-paced business functions.
KĀYA Personal Trainers must carry current Certificate IV qualification, First Aid, CPR, Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance.
