FOUNDATION PILATES CLASSES & COURSES
A great way to get into Pilates classes for beginners is to enrol in our Kaya Pilates Foundation Course. Complimentary to members, our introductory courses are led by our passionate Pilates instructors, who will guide you through the basics and history of the Pilates method. You will learn how to safely and correctly use the reformer bed and equipment, how to find the neutral position of your spine and pelvis and align your body correctly, and how and why to stay in control through the entire movement of each exercise.
Kaya’s Pilates foundation course is the perfect way to start your journey as a Pilates reformer beginner or if you are looking to perfect your practice and increase your knowledge. We also offer yoga for beginners, allowing those new to these wellness disciplines to learn multiple methodologies in a safe, comfortable environment.

For our instructors, Pilates is not only a passion but a way of life. Our team of specialist Pilates teachers are experienced and knowledgeable leaders in their industry with many coming from Sports Science, Dance and other professional health backgrounds.
All Kaya Pilates instructors are Elixr School of Pilates (ESOP) trained. Elixr School of Pilates courses are firmly based in industry-leading exercise science principles, and are nationally endorsed by the Fitness Institute of Australia, as well as certified by Fitness Australia. Our instructors strive to consistently deliver fun, exciting and challenging classes suitable for all levels of students to make the most out of their time in class.
