About the Pilates Mat class
Mat Pilates
Suitability: All levels | Class duration: 45 mins
Our floor-based Mat Pilates class draws on body-weight resistance and a considered range of small props to build core strength and control. Laying a foundation you can feel in the way you move everyday.
With expert guidance and hands-on cues, each session builds mobility and body awareness at a pace that suits you. This makes Mat Pilates feel both grounding and challenging, no matter your experience level.
What Makes KĀYA Pilates Mat Unique
Pilates Mat uses body weight and gravity to create resistance that builds control, stability and body awareness from the ground up. KĀYA classes follow the Pilates system where exercises start simple and layer in complexity, much like stacking foundational movements into advanced variations.
Instructors offer progressions in every 45 minute class so you select the version that challenges your skill and strength without losing form. This makes open level classes effective whether you are new to Pilates, from another fitness background, or refining long term practice.
